Larry W. Edwards

Nov. 13, 1965 – Oct. 20, 2006

Larry W. Edwards, 40, of Rushville, died October 20 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born Nov. 13, 1965, in Rushville, a son of Jerry and Joyce (Evans) Edwards.

Mr. Edwards worked in the die maintenance department at I.P.T. in Greenfield. He had lived in Rushville the last 15 years, but grew up in Carthage. On May 25, 1991, he married Mary Wagner and she survives. He was a 1984 Knightstown High School graduate.

Survivors include his parents, Jerry and Joyce Edwards of Carthage; his wife, Mary Edwards of Rushville; a son, Robert E. Edwards of Rushville; a daughter, Taylor M. Edwards of Rushville; a stepdaughter, Ashley (husband, Joe) Heller of Shelbyville; two sisters, Carol D. Edwards of Indianapolis and Sandra K. McFarland of Carthage; and one niece.

Funeral services were October 24 at Fletcher United Methodist Church in Carthage with Rev. Roger Campbell officiating. Burial followed in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation was October 23 at Fletcher United Methodist Church in Carthage. Todd Funeral Home handled arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Robert E. and Taylor M. Edwards Continuing Education Fund c/o MainSource Bank, 202 N. Main St., Rushville, IN 46173.
