Patricia M. DeWitt
Jan. 14, 1937 - Sept. 26, 2006
Patricia M. DeWitt, 60, of Rushville, died September 26.
She was born in Huntington County on Jan. 14, 1937, a daughter of the late Clayton J. and Velma (Bennett) Todd.
She married David D. DeWitt on May 27, 1961, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 1997.
Mrs. DeWitt was a 1955 Carthage High School Graduate. In 1959, she graduated from Ball State University with a bachelors degree. Mrs. DeWitt completed her masters degree in elementary education in 1966 at Ball State. She retired from the Charles A. Beard Memorial School Corporation after 16 years of teaching.
Survivors include two daughters, Sheila Farlow of Arlington and Regina (husband, Jim) Campbell of Rushville; a brother, Kenneth (wife, Edith) Todd of Knightstown; three sisters, Sharon (husband, Tom) Roberts of Carthage, Shirley (husband, Leon) Whitfield of Carthage and Betty (husband, Bob) Dean of Knightstown; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville. Visitation was Friday, Sept. 29, from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Arlington East Hill Cemetery.
