Ashley Nicole Estes

July 17, 1988 – Sept. 17, 2006

Ashley Nicole Estes, 18, of Charlottesville, died September 17 in Zionsville.

She was born July 17, 1988 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of Ronnie and Marsha (Whalen) Estes of Charlottesville.

Miss Estes was employed at R&R Steel, Inc., in Greenfield. She was an avid softball player.

In addition to her parents, survivors include a sister, Amber Estes of Charlottesville; paternal grandparents, Ronnie and Joan Estes, Sr., of Greenfield; three uncles, Randall Estes of Greenfield, Mike Whalen of Dayton, Ohio, and Chris Whalen of Dayton, Ohio; two aunts, Christy (husband, Marty) Neisler of Greenfield and Susan (husband, Jeff) Bush of West-Carrolton, Ohio; five cousins, Chris (wife, Nicole) Neisler and their son, Reese, Cameron Neisler, Peyton Neisler, Chaunisty Bush and Jeffrey Bush; and lots of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Marjorie (Snyder) Whalen; and a great-grandmother, Hattie Whalen.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, at the funeral home.
