Michael R. Toloday

May 13, 1939 – Aug. 18, 2006

Michael R. Toloday, 67, of Willow Branch, died August 18 at his home.

He was born May 13, 1939, in Hancock County, a son of the late Wilson and Jeanette (Downey) Toloday.

Mr. Toloday was a 1958 Wilkinson High School graduate. He retired from Chrysler Corporation in New Castle. Mr. Toloday served in the National Guard and the U.S. Navy. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Greenfield. He was an avid Nascar fan.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Judith “Judy” (Hubert) Toloday of Willow Branch; two sons, Randy (wife, Natalie) Toloday of Greenfield and Steven (wife, Kim) Toloday of McCordsville; a daughter, Lea (hsuband, Ed) St. Clair of Plainfield; seven grandchildren, Candice, Melanie, Jaime, Vanessa, Amanda and Nathan Toloday and Samantha St. Clair;  three brothers, Robert and Glenn Toloday, both of Wilkinson and Victor Toloday of Greenfield; a sister, Ina Cain of Wilkinson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Charles Toloday.

Funeral services were August 22 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Greenfield with Father Severin Messick officiating. Burial followed at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Visitation was August 21 at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. A rosary accompanied the visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis in honor of his granddaughter, Amanda Toloday.
