Jeffrey Mark Litten
Oct. 16, 1978 – Aug. 20, 2006
Jeffrey Mark Litten, 27, of Muncie, died in Charlottesville on August 20.
He was born Oct. 16, 1978, in Greenfield, a son of Paul R. and Linda R. (Trees) Litten of Charlottesville.
Mr. Litten was a 1997 Eastern Hancock High School graduate and a 2003 Anderson University graduate. In 2004, he earned his masters degree from Ball State University. Mr. Litten was employed for two years at Ball State as a systems coordinator in the Academic Research Center. He was a member of Warrington Church of the Nazarene where he served on the church board and was a youth leader for several years. Mr. Litten enjoyed building websites, music, playing tuba, volleyball and he was an avid Indiana University basketball and Indianapolis Colts fan.
Survivors include three brothers, Paul Richard (wife, Valerie) Litten of Washington, Ill., Dennis (wife, Karen) Litten of Lebanon and Chad Allen (wife, Amber) Litten of Kokomo; a sister, Pam (husband, John) Copeland of Indianapolis; a grandfather, Everett Trees of Warrington; seven nieces and nephews; and many aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by two grandmothers, Ruth E. Trees and Genny Litten; and a grandfather, Paul Litten.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. August 23 at Warrington Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Todd Reynolds and Rev. Ron Ferguson officiating. Burial followed at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Visitation was August 22 at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Memorial contributions may be made to Warrington Church of the Nazarene or the Leukemia Society.
