Preston C. Hill

July 8, 1930 – July 26, 2006

Preston C. Hill, 76, of Franklin died July 26 at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis.

He was born July 8, 1930, in Bryan, Ky., a son of the late Willie Lee and Nellie (Morgan) Hill.

Mr. Hill was U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Ingersoll Steel. He enjoyed selling used cars and auctioneering throughout his retirement. He was a member of the Hardee’s Coffee Club in Franklin.

Survivors include his children, Kennie D. (wife, Kathy) Hill of Greenfield; Patricia A. Johnson of Goodlettsville, Tenn., Debra Lynn (husband, Brent) Magee of Knightstown; Brenda Lee (husband, Scott) Catey of New Castle, and Michelle M. (husband, Greg) Wilson of Greenwood; a brother, Joe Hill of Bryan, Ky.; a sister, Linda Bradshaw of Russell Springs, Ky.; 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter due in September.

He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Lee Hill; a brother, Edwin Hill; a sister, Jewell Bunch; and a grandson, Bryce Wilson.

Funeral services were July 30 at Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs, Ky. Burial followed at Dixon Cemetery. Visitation was July 29 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Memorial Program, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, Ohio 45250-0301.
