Pauline C. Thompson
June 29, 1927 – June 9, 2006
Pauline C. Thompson, 78, of Wilkinson, died Friday, June 9, at Community Hospital in Anderson.
She was born June 29, 1927, in Olive Hill, Ky., a daughter of the late Charles and Lovie (Burchett) Reeder.
Mrs. Thompson worked at Indiana Knitwear and was a member of the Wilkinson Brotherhood and Sisterhood. She also attended Shirley Christian Church.
Survivors include four sons, Phillip D. (wife, Debbie) Thompson of Shirley, Donnie R. (wife, Susan) Thompson of Greenfield, Victor J. (wife, Becky) Thompson of Greenfield and Steve A. (wife, Tammy) Thompson of Cumberland; four daughters, Gloria K. (husband, David) Newman of Huntsville, Tx., Janet (husband, Charles) Oldham of Markleville, Suzanne Thompson (special friend, Tammie Pemberton) of Fortville and Kristina J. (husband, Barry) McKinsey of Greenfield; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold Reeder of Olive Hill, Ky.; a sister, Hilda Sloan of Morehead, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Bernice R. Thompson, in 2003; two brothers, Lawrence and Burl Reeder; and a sister, Lula Masters.
Funeral services were Tuesday, June 13, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Darrell Deck officiating. Burial followed in McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Visitation was Monday, June 12, at the funeral home.
