Louis F. Barnard

Aug. 6, 1926 – May 15, 2006

Louis F. Barnard, 79, of Foothills, Ariz., died Monday, May 15, at his home.

He was born in Knightstown on Aug. 6, 1926.

Mr. Barnard served with the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. After the war, he graduated from Hanover College. Mr. Barnard was a former owner of Banning and Barnard, a manufacturer and installer of cement tile for draining farm land and highways.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis, of Yuma, Ariz.; three daughters, Tonni Carrigan of Tennessee, Leesa Kent, a U.S. Navy captain and Kammi Barnard of Dallas, Tx.; and a brother, Phillip Barnard of Economy.

No public funeral services were conducted. Cremation took place at Sunset Vista Funeral Home in Arizona.
