Mavern “Mae” Patterson

July 17, 1928 – April 23, 2006

Mavern “Mae” Patterson, 77, of Knightstown, died Sunday, April 23, at her home.

She was born July 17, 1928, in Shelbyville, a daughter of the late Leonard and Violet (Williams) Featherston.

Survivors include three daughters, Tena (husband, Curtis) Northern of Knightstown, Tamara (husband, Don) Riley of Paris, Ky., and Terrie (husband, Larry) Bittinger of Wilkinson; seven grandchildren, Ashlee, Alyssa, and Levi Northern, Wesley and Angela Riley, and Trey and Elise Bittinger; two sisters, Evelyn See of Noblesville and Betty Baker of Shelbyville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harel Patterson, in 1999; and two brothers, Wesley and Buddy Featherston.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 28, at Condo & Son Funeral Home with Rev. George Maloyed officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 27.
