Sharon E. Dunlavy
May 6, 1942 – April 10, 2006
Sharon E. Dunlavy, 63, of Knightstown, died at Monday, April 10, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
A daughter of the late Ralph and M. Josephine (Bouse) Mitchell, she was born May 6, 1942, in Beechwood Hospital in Tipton County.
Mrs. Dunlavy was a wife and homemaker, who previously served as a grade school teacher at Greenfield, Eden and Maxwell. She was a member of Knightstown United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Dunlavy, of Knightstown; a daughter, Penny (husband, Bill) Oxley of Anderson; two grandsons, William Gavin Oxley and Daniel Benjamin Oxley; a sister, Kathleen (husband, Bill) Templeman of Arlington Heights, Ill.; and 10 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Mitchell and Theresa Sloan.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, at Knightstown United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Brackney officiating. Burial will follow at Huntsville Cemetery. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Memorial contributions may be made to Knightstown United Methodist Church.
