Mary Frances Howe

Dec. 26, 1933 – March 24, 2006

Mary Frances (Ebbert) Howe, 72, of Pendleton, died Friday, March 24, at her home.

She was born Dec. 26, 1933, in Mechanicsburg, a daughter of the late Orville and Berneatha (Lindsey) Ebbert.

Mrs. Howe retired from Delco-Remy in 1987 after 32 years of service. She was a member of Shirley Order of the Eastern Star #492 and Shirley Christian Church. Mrs. Howe was a Pendleton Heights High School band booster and she enjoyed making dolls and bears.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Howe of Pendleton; a daughter, Beth Ann Howe of Pendleton; four sisters, Helen Wisehart of Wilkinson, Alice Fern Johnson of Florida, Eva Erman of Elwood and Jane Wisehart of Shirley; three grandchildren, Krishanda Kirchner of Lebanon, Krystal Kirchner of Anderson and Daniel Kirchner of Anderson; two great-grandchildren, Aubri Hamilton of Lebanon and Aydin Kirchner of Anderson; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Dale and Junior Ebbert; and a sister, Anna Mae Crocket.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Burial followed in McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Monday, March 27, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
