Janet Elaine Marsh

Sept. 2, 1943 – March 18, 2006

Janet Elaine (Holt) Marsh, 62, of Carthage, died Friday, March 18, at Northgate Health Care Center in Marion.

She was born Sept. 2, 1942, in Milan, a daughter of the late John and Lorena Holt.

Mrs. Marsh was a homemaker who enjoyed going to yard sales and collecting nic-nacs.

Survivors include six grandchildren; two sons, Jarman Spurlock of Indiana, and Richard (wife, Denise) Marsh of Indianapolis; four daughters, Belinda (husband, Shannon) Foster of Greenfield, Earlene Groffon of Shelbyville, Pam Spurlock of Greenfield and Dixie Marsh of Shelbyville; two brothers, Larry (wife, Marsha) Holt and Richard (wife, Joyce) Holt, both of Milan; one sister, Joan (husband, Chad) Hayes of Milan; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnny Holt, Donald (Fiddle) Holt and William Holt.

Funeral services are private and there will be no public visitation. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Main & Davis Funeral Home, Broad Street Chapel, in New Castle.
