David Green

Sept. 30, 1936 – March 18, 2006

David Green, 69, of Greenfield, died Saturday, March 18, at St. John’s Medical Center in Anderson.

He was born Sept. 30, 1936, in Anderson, the son of the late Arlie and Dolly (Relliford) Green.

In 1996, Mr. Green retired from Delco-Remy in Anderson after 30 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Bea (Whetsel) Green of Greenfield; two step-daughters, Jean Potts of Greenfield and Pam (husband, Jeff) Smith of Greenfield; four grandchildren, Gary Wilson of Indianapolis, Stacy Potts of Greenfield, Christy (husband, Shane) Lewis of Greenfield and Brian (wife, Jean) Potts of Greenfield; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jack Green.

Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Pastor Ernie Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Eden Cemetery in Eden. Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
