Margie A. Tuttle

May 18, 1933 – Feb. 1,2006

Margie A. Tuttle, 72, of Knightstown, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.

She was born May 18, 1933, in Vincennes, the daughter of the late Harry and Alice (Vessels) Lee.

Ms. Tuttle was a past president of the Eagles Aries #211 women’s auxiliary. She was also a member of the American Legion. She enjoyed playing Bingo and cards.

Survivors include her children, William (wife, Patty) Robb of Indianapolis, Louise (husband, Eddie) Plunket of Conyers, Ga., Joan (husband, Dennis) Carmichael of Knightstown; David (wife, Karen) Robb of Newport News, Va., and Kurt (wife, Toni) Weidenbenner of Fishers; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Joyce (husband, Art) Sauer of Indianapolis; three stepsisters; and one stepbrother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Lee.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in Knightstown with Rev. Thomas Current officiating. Burial followed in Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at the funeral home.
