Suzanne M. Younts

April 20, 1946 – Jan. 6, 2006

Suzanna M. Younts, 59, of New Castle, died Friday, Jan. 6, at Americare Living Center in New Castle.

She was born April 20, 1946, in Milwaukee, Wis., a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Marie (Sibinski) Nowaczyk.

Mrs. Younts worked at the New Castle and Muncie post offices for many years. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in New Castle, where she was very active. Mrs. Younts belonged to the Knightstown of Columnus Ladies Auxiliary and was a former member of the New Castle Business and Professional Women. She enjoyed being a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. Her family meant a lot to her and she much time with them. Mrs. Younts also enjoyed helping others, collecting, music and dance.

Survivors include two daughters, Lori (husband, Ronnie) McDonald of Jacksonville, Fla., and Dawn Frazier of New Castle; six grandchildren, Tabitha, Brandi Weintraut and Emily McDonald, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; Matt and Malerie Younts and Levi Holland, all of New Castle; two sisters, Carol Ann (husband, Paul) Garza of Wauwatosa, Wis., and Mary Ann (husband, John) Relish of Eagle Spring Lake, Wis.; two brothers, Joe Nowaczyk of Waukesha, Wis., and Mark (wife, Jean) Nowaczyk of Eagle Spring Lake, Wis.; one aunt, Suzy Sibinski of West Allis, Wis.; two uncles, Danny Cwiklinski and Jimmy Sibinski, both of Wisconsin; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a beloved friend, Sister Shirley Gerth of New Castle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved aunts, Harriet and Sophie Nowaczyk.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in New Castle with Sister Shirley Gerth officiating. Burial will take place later at St. Theresa’s Catholic Cemetery in Eagle, Wis. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne’s Catholic Church in memory of Suzanne Younts. Main & Davis Funeral Home in New Castle is handling arrangements.
