Sue Ann Johnson

Jan. 25, 1951 – Jan. 5, 2006

Sue Ann (Ayers) Johnson, 54, of Albany, Ky., died Thursday, Jan. 5, at Clinton County Hospital in Clinton County, Ky.

She was born Jan. 25, 1951, a daughter of the late Sam and Opal (Clark) Ayers.

Survivors include one daughter, Stacie (husband, Jason) Boykin of New Castle; two sons, Tim (wife, Dianna) Ayers, and Larry (wife, Anna) Johnson, both of Albany, Ky.; three sisters, Ruth Thornsberry of Albany, Ky., Juanita Rednour and Kaye Bersprille, both of Arcadia; and six grandchildren, Jason Boykin II, Dusty Boykin, Nicole Boykin, Sheriah Boykin, Cris Ayers and Wyatt Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lyndale Johnson.

Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 7, at Talbott Funeral Home in Albany, Ky., with Brother Ted Burchett officiating. Visitation was Friday, Jan. 6, from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services were Monday, Jan. 9, at South Mound Cemetery, Westlawn Addition, in New Castle with Rev. Gene Bennett officiating. Main & Davis Funeral Home in New Castle is handling local arrangements.
