Miriam L. Miksch
Oct. 18, 1932 – Oct. 7, 2005
Miriam L. (McKnight) Miksch, 72, of Limerick, Pa., died Friday, Oct. 7, at Mercy Suburban Hospital in East Norriton, Pa.
She was born in Wilkinson on Oct. 18, 1932, a daughter of the late Roy A. and Mildren E. (Lowe) McKnight.
Mrs. Miksch was the wife of John E. “Jack” Miksch for 40 years. She served as an office clerk, retiring in 1996 from Genuardi Supermarkets. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Morning Light Chapter #312 in Hatboro, Pa. Mrs. Miksch enjoyed reading, crocheting, embroidery, camping and trips to casinos.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Timothy (wife, Robin) Rhoades of Vestal, N.Y.; two daughters, Pamela (husband, Scott) Bishop of Lansdale, Pa., and Deborah (husband, David) Emery of Sanatoga, Pa.; two step-children, Jody Stork and John E. Miksch, both of Melbourne, Fla.; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were October 11 at Boyd-Horrox Funeral Home in East Norriton, Pa. Burial took place in Riverside Cemetery in West Norriton Township, Pa.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania, 525 Plymouth Rd., Plymouth Meeting, Pa. 19462.
