Betty J. Moore

Feb. 24, 1926 – Dec. 28, 2003

Betty J. Moore, 77, a resident of Wilkinson, died Sunday, December 28 at her residence. She was born February 24, 1926 in Carthage, a daughter of the late Gerald and Ethel (Stevens) Mann-Blessinger.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Shirley Friends Church, the Knightstown American Legion Bingo Club and the Greenfield American Legion Bingo Club.

Surviving are four sons, Michael Moore of Indianapolis, Gregory Moore of Indianapolis, Tracy Joe Moore of Carthage and Bryan Moore of Shirley; two daughters, Suzy Hanna of Willow Branch and Debby Clark of Shirley; 10 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Moore in 1999 and a brother, Robert Mann.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, December 31) in the Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Rev. Jim Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.

Visitation was held at the funeral home Tuesday, December 30.
