Robert E. Campbell

Sept. 4, 1949 – Dec. 5, 2003

Robert E. Campbell, 54, of Greenfield died Friday, December 5 at the V.A. Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born September 4, 1949 in Rushville, a son of the late Emery and Ruby (Porter) Campbell.

Mr. Campbell had worked in a factory.

He is survived by one son, Brian (wife Candice) Campbell, Colorado Springs, Colo; two daughters, Ragina Campbell and Tina Eller, both of Colorado Springs, Colo; five brothers, Jack (wife Emily) Evans of Greenfield, Larry (wife Julie) Evans of Greenfield, Garry (wife Gay) Evans of Rushville, Ron (wife Juanita) Evans of Tomahawk, Wisc., and Roger (wife Jane) Campbell of Carthage; three sisters, Sue Dunagan of Fairland, Ann (husband Jack) Vanderboom of Rhinelander, Wisc., and Judy (husband John) Willims of Fairland; two sisters-in-law, Henrietta Evans of Greenfield, and Darlene Evans of Connersville; and three grandchildren, Bradley, Aubrianna and Kyle.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Ray and Lawrence Evans.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 8 at the Fletcher United Methodist Church of Carthage with Pastors Garry Evans and Roger Campbell officiating. Burial was in Center Cemetery.

Visitation was held at Todd Funeral Home, Carthage Chapel Sunday, December 7.
