William “Bill” Williamson
Oct. 8, 1945 – Nov. 4, 2003
Lewisville resident, William “Bill” Williamson, 58, died Tuesday, November 4 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie after a brief illness. Bill was born October 8, 1945 in Richmond, a son of the late Elmer and June M. (Jenkins) Williamson.
Mr. Williamson had lived in Lewisville most of his life. He was an U.S. Army veteran and graduated from Lewisville High School with the Class of 1964. He was an insurance salesman and worked for several years for Ameriana Insurance Agency of New Castle. He attended the Lewisville Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one brother, Ted Williamson of Riverdale, Ga.; four sisters, Helen Williamson of Richmond, Linda Brown of Lewisville, Rebecca (husband Marvin) Railsback of Centerville, and Mary Ann (husband Tony) Hickman of Lewisville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father June 9, 1974 and his mother on April 23, 1993.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 8 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home in Lewisville with Rev. Linda Philabaum officiating. Burial was in Lewisville Cemetery in Lewisville.
Visitation was held at the funeral home Friday, November 7.
