Harold B. Walker

May 30, 1913 – Oct. 28, 2003

Harold B. Walker, 90, of Greenfield, died Tuesday, October 28 in Greenfield. He was born May 30, 1913 in Sanburn, a son of the late Eber M. and Effie L. (Boyd) Walker.

Mr. Walker was retired from the Chrysler Corp. of New Castle. He was a former charter member of the Knightstown Lions Club. He was married to Grace Walker who died March 5, 1994.

Survivors include two sons, Jack (wife Linda) Walker of Greenwood, and Lee (wife Dianne) Walker of Knightstown; two step-sons, Larry (wife Frances) Kester of Middletown and Michael Kester of New Palestine; two step-daughters, Sharon (husband Otis) Baker of Greenfield and Virginia (husband Rod) McIntosh of Carmel; one brother, Paul (wife Marge) Walker of Knightstown; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents and wife, a brother, Jesse Walker, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 31 at Pasco Stillinger Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Michael Manning officiating. Burial was in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.

Visitation was held at the funeral home October 30.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hancock Memorial Hospital, Hospice Unit, 801 N. State St., Greenfield, IN 46140.
