Ruth Ellen Dotson-Trees, 83, died Saturday, September 20 in Warrington. She was born February 26, 1920, south of Wilkinson, a daughter of Bertie Allen and Emma Jane (Sanders) Dotson.

Mrs. Trees attended Shirley Schools and God’s Bible School and College of Cincinnati, Ohio.  She and her husband owned and operated Trees’ Trailer Sales in Warrington from 1954 to 1978. She was a licensed insurance agent from 1960 to the present. She earned her real estate license in 1975 and was owner of The Trees’ Realty and an insurance agency for 15 years. Mrs. Trees and her husband also farmed in Hancock for over 50 years. She was a longtime member of the Warrington Church of the Nazarene and served in many capacities through the years.

Survivors include her husband, Everett of Warrington, whom she married August 7, 1938; one son, Everett E. Trees, Jr. of Wilkinson; two daughters, Linda R. Litten of Charlottesville, and Holly Trees-Miller of Warrington, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 25 at the Warrington Nazarene Church with Rev. Russell Roberts and Rev. Brent Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today (Wednesday, September 24) at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Memorial donations may be made to the Warrington Nazarene Church, 8331 N. Nashville Rd., Wilkinson, IN 46186 or to God’s Bible School and College, 1810 Young St., Cincinnati, Ohio.
