Lorine E. Palmer

Dec. 10, 1921 – Sept. 12, 2003

The sister of a local resident, Lorine E. Palmer, 81, died Friday, September 12 in Columbus at the home of her grandson with whom she lived. She was born December 10, 1921 in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late Algernon and Elsie Rickard Martin.

Mrs. Henning retired from Diamond Chain Co. in Indianapolis after 30 years of service. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter 414.

Survivors include one daughter, Betty Owens, Roswell, N.M; one sister, Marjorie Hupp, Nashville; a brothers, Max Martin of Knightstown; a grandson with whom she lived, Keith Martin of Columbus; and two granddaughters, Tammy Lines and Sandy Doucet, both of New Mexico.

Her parents and her husband, the late Marvin Martin whom she married in 1959, preceded her in death.

A private Memorial Service will be held at the family’s convenience.

Memorial may be made to Hospice.

Myers Funeral Service, Hathaway-Myers Chapel of Columbus was in charge of arrangements.
