Mary Beth Moore

Oct. 31, 1938 – Aug. 27, 2003

Mary Beth Moore, 64, of rural Rushville, died Wednesday, August 27 at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born October 31, 1938 in Boise, Idaho, a daughter of the late Leonard and Doris Thomason.

Mary Beth had lived in Rush County for the last 40 years. She was graduated from the Cheyenne High School in Wyoming in the Class of 1956. On February 23, 1957, she married Richard Moore and he preceded her in death on March 9, 1968. She retired in 2001 after over 20 years with the Shelbyville and Rushville Kroger stores, working in the produce department. She was a member of the Center Christian Church.

Survivors include one son, Mark L. Moore of Rushville; one daughter, Carolyn (husband Kevin) Miccichi of Crown Point; one sister, Nancy Boteler of California; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation was held at the Moster & Cox Mortuary in Rushville on Friday, August 29. There were no funeral services for Mrs. Moore.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
