Wanda J. Littleton

Aug. 13, 1931 – Aug. 16, 2003

Wanda J. Littleton, 72, of Shirley died Saturday, August 16 at the Hancock Memorial Hospital in Greenfield, following an extended illness. She was born August 13, 1931 in Muncie, a daughter of the late Henry and Nellie (Beckham) Bundy.

Mrs. Littleton had attended the St. Rose Catholic Church in Knightstown and had attended the Shirley Friends Church. She was a homemaker and a member of the Muncie Sympathy Club. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, making afghans and cooking.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Lafe Littleton; one daughter, Diana (husband David) Kidd of New Castle; three grandsons, Eugene (wife Tammi) Hamby, Chuck (wife Rachel) Hamby, and Tim (wife Jennifer) Hamby, all of New Castle; 11 great-grandchildren, Amanda, David, Ashley, Jessica, Matt, Brandi, Stuart, Sarah, Spencer, Mecallah and Austin; two great-great-grandchildren, Jade and Shelby; and one brother, Henry “Bus” (wife Barbara) Bundy of Intercession City, Fla.; three nieces, one nephew, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Kay Bundy, one aunt and an uncle.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, August 20) at the Main & Frame Funeral Home in New Castle with Rev. James Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery on Kilgore Ave., Muncie.

Visitation was Tuesday, August 19 at the funeral home.
