Dale C. Heim
Sept. 1, 1929 – Aug. 13, 2003
Knightstown resident, Dale C. Heim, 73, died Wednesday, August 13 at Brandywine Manor Convalescent Center in Greenfield. He was born September 1, 1929 in Indiana, a son of the late Chandler and Crystal (Leonard) Heim.
Mr. Heim was a retired farmer and had retired from Ford Motor Co. in Indianapolis. He was a member of the Shirley Masonic Lodge #531.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Janet Heim of Knightstown; two sons, Steve (wife Bonnie) Heim of Knightstown, and Mark Heim of New Castle; three daughters, Kathleen (husband Barry) Bell of New Castle, Brenda (husband Victor) Bennett of Middleburg, Fla., and Cynthia Heim of Anderson; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Richard Heim of Knightstown; one sister, Ruth Kattau of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
Three sister, Evelyn and Carol Heim and Jean Whitaker preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 18 in the Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Rev. Arlie Cutshaw officiating. Burial was in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation was held at the funeral home Sunday, August 17.
