Thurman Apple

Feb. 22, 1927-July 11, 2003

Thurman Apple, 76, of rural Rushville, died Friday, July 11 in Riverwalk Village, Noblesville. He was born February 22, 1927 in Rushville.

Mr. Apple was a farmer and a lifelong resident of Rushville. Mr. Apple was also a retired insurance salesman and a veteran of the U.S. Army. In 1948, he graduated from Mays High School. He was a member of the Worldwide Church of God. On February 25, 1952, he married Greta Skinner and she preceded him in death.

He is survived by one son, Brad Apple of Rushville; three daughters, Sherri Apple of Rushville, Denise Sparks of Hopewell, N.J., and Deleia Wiselogle of Noblesville; three sisters, Avis (husband Carl) Hawkins of Morristown, Aleene (husband Byron) Hunsinger of Brownsburg, and Esther (husband Nelson) Newhouse of New Palestine; and 10 grandchildren.

A graveside service was held Monday, July 14 in Center Cemetery. There was no public viewing.

Todd Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
