Hildred Collins
July 21, 1915 - June 28, 2003
G. Hildred Collins, 87, a resident of Markleville, died Saturday, June 28 at Hancock Memorial Hospital. She was born July 21, 1915 in Hancock County, a daughter of the late Otto and Tresella (Lynam) Bridges.
Mrs. Collins had worked at Delco Remy in Anderson and was a housewife. She is a member of the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, the Ladies Aid and the Wilkinson Brotherhood and Sisterhood.
She was preceded in death by husband, Carl Collins in 1982; a brother, Avery Bridges in 1990; and a sister, Zelma Bridges.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-8 p.m. today (Wednesday, July 2). Memorial contributions may be made to the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church.
