Albert Gough Kinnaman

Sept. 28, 1908 - June 3, 2003

Albert Gough Kinnaman, 94, a resident of the Addison House in New Castle and a former resident of North Vernon, died Tuesday, June 3 in The Waters of New Castle. He was born September 28, 1908 in Puxico, Mo., a son of the late David Olie and Julia (Gough) Kinnaman.

Mr. Kinnaman was a self-employed farmer for over 60 years. He was a member of the North Vernon Senior Center and had attended the Tea Creek Baptist Church in North Vernon and the Grace Baptist Church in New Castle.

Surviving are two daughters, Betty (husband Warren) Hill of New Castle and Ruth (husband Ray) Pilarski of North Vernon; two sons, Russell (wife Joy) Kinnaman of New Castle and Leon "Al" (wife Joyce) Kinnaman of Knightstown; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernice Kinnaman in 1970 and his second wife, Johnque Kinnaman in 1986, three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 6 in the Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Rev. Steve Brackney officiating. Burial was in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation was held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 5. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
