Christopher Jason Adkins

May 17, 1971 - June 1, 2003

Christopher Jason Adkins, 32, a resident of Knightstown, died in an accident Sunday, June 1 near Kennard. He was born May 17, 1971 in Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle, a son of Marvin L. and Cynthia S. Adkins of Knightstown.

He was employed at Keihin IPT Manufacturing of Greenfield as a Production Associate in die cast for seven years. He loved his son more than anything, his friends, motorcycle and NASCAR.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a son, Preston Storm Adkins of Knightstown; two sisters, Lisa Adkins of Elkhart and Beverly Jones of Kennard; two brothers, Michael Johnson and Jacob Adkins, both of Knightstown; paternal grandparents, Rufus and Delcie Adkins of Greensboro; maternal grandparents, Frank and Maxine Renfro of Kennard; three nieces, three nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by an uncle, Russell Adkins.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, (Wednesday, June 4) in the Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Rev. Elwood Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.

Visitation was at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 3.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Preston Adkins Trust Fund in care of Marvin and Cynthia Adkins, 5392 W 350 S, Knightstown, IN 46148.
