Berdina M. Kindler

Aug. 24, 1939 - May 16, 2003

Berdina M. Kindler, 63, a resident of Knightstown, died at her residence Friday, May 16. She was born August 24, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of the late Melvin and Lois (Lacey) Eaton.

Mrs. Kindler had cleaned houses and businesses and took care of foster children. She was a member of Greenfield Faith Lutheran Church and had been involved in Scouting and 4-H.

Survivors include a daughter, Elaine Noble of Greenfield; two sons, Kris Kindler of Knightstown and Earl Kindler of Muncie, a foster son, George Leininger of Indianapolis, nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.

A daughter, Jeannine K. Riley, preceded her in death on January 10, 2002.

Graveside services will be held at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown at 11 a.m. on Thursday with Pastor David Koeneman officiating. Friends may call at the graveside from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. The Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson handled arrangements.
