Joyce A. Kirk, 85, a resident of Anderson, died Sunday, April 20 in Community Hospital in Anderson.
She was born December 1, 1917 in Anderson, a daughter of the late Clarence and Ruth E. (Vernon) Chadwick.
Mrs. Kirk was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Jack (wife Linda) Kirk of Markleville, Tom (wife Cindy) Kirk of Markleville, and Joe (wife Mary) Kirk of Alexandria; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a special friend, Betty Mullins.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Arthur Kirk in 1965; a daughter, Nikki Blaylock in 1997; and three brothers, Paul, Fred and Robert Chadwick.
Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday, April 23) in the Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Pastor John Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park in Anderson. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to East Christian Church of Markleville.
