Nathan W. Hamilton, Jr.

Nov. 20, 1957 - Mar. 31, 2003

Nathan W. "Nate" Hamilton, Jr., 45, of Knightstown, died unexpectedly Monday, March 31 at Henry County Memorial Hospital. He was born November 20, 1957 in New Castle, a son of Nathan W. and Elnora A. (White) Hamilton, Sr.

Nathan was a 1976 graduate of Knightstown High School. He was presently employed at Republic Inc. in Greenfield. He enjoyed fishing and cooking. He also loved spending time with his sons. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #16 of Knightstown where he was elected Master of the lodge, being the youngest ever to serve as Master.

Survivors include his wife of over 19 years, Cindy J. Hamilton of Knightstown; three sons, Zachary Hamilton, Wesley Hamilton and Ezekiel Hamilton, all of Knightstown; father and stepmother, Nathan W. "Nate" (wife Terri) Hamilton of Knightstown; two brothers, Jeffrey Hamilton of Indianapolis, and Ronald Hamilton of Knightstown; mother-in-law, Sally Smith of Knightstown; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 3 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service with the Rev. Dillard Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Asberry Cemetery in Morristown. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today (Wednesday, April 2) at the funeral home. Masonic services will be conducted at 7 p.m.
