Barbara A. Adams

Jan. 25, 1934 - Mar. 19, 2003

Barbara A. Adams, 69, a resident of Carthage, died Wednesday, March 19 at her residence. She was born January 25, 1934 in Fortville, a daughter of the late Justus Kingen Sr. and Zelpha Martha (Crawford) Kingen.

She was a member of the Knightstown Bethel Holiness Church in Knightstown.

Survivors include one daughter, Lucinda A. Adams of Carthage; three sons, Terry Lynn Adams of Ingalls, Virgil Wayne Adams of Spencer, and Harold Wayne Adams of Greenfield; four grandchildren, Jonathon David Adams, Amanda Lynne Adams, Blake Aaron Adams and Terry Eugene Adams; two sisters, Dorothy J. Cox of Anderson and Janet Sue Rainey of Indianapolis; one brother, Robert (Bob) L. Kingen of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Justus Kingen Jr., and a granddaughter, Mary Martha Adams.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 22 at Bethel Holiness Church in Knightstown with Rev. George Maloyed Jr. officiating. Burial was in Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville. Visitation was held at the Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson on Friday, March 21.
