Paul S. Cox

May 14, 1914 - March 2, 2003

Paul Stuart Cox, 88, died Sunday, March 2 at his rural Knightstown residence. He was born May 14, 1914 in Knightstown, a son of Emery and Flora (Midkiff) Cox.

Mr. Cox was a member of the Knightstown Kiwanis and was a past president and Lt. Governor of Kiwanis. He was a member of the Knightstown Chamber of Commerce and had served as president, and was a member of Knightstown Friends Meeting.

 Survivors include his wife, Anna Lou Chance Cox whom he married in 1994; one son, Richard (wife Kay) Cox of Knightstown; one daughter, Diana Sue (husband Ronald) Harber of Fort Collins, Colo.; and four grandchildren.

His first wife, Maxine McNew Cox, preceded him in death in 1989.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4 at Todd Funeral Home in Knightstown with Rev. Chris Sitler and Rev. Gene Lewis officiating. Burial was in Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation was held Monday, March 3 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Knightstown Public Library and/or the American Cancer Society.
