Pauline A. Poer

Aug. 27, 1908 - Jan. 31, 2003

Pauline A. Poer, 94, a resident of Charlottesville, died Friday, January 31 in Hickory Creek Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born August 27, 1908 in Green Township, a daughter of the late Oscar and Blanche (Addison) Adkins.

She retired in 1973 from Greenfield Banking Co. and had been employed with Leon Wilson Real Estate. She was a member of the Charlottesville United Methodist Church, Charlottesville United Methodist Women's Club, Nameless Creek Literary Club, and a former member of the Knightstown Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a daughter, Beverly (husband Fred) Muegge of Charlottesville; two grandchildren, Pamela Carr of Downs, Ill. and Doug Muegge of Kokomo; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Poer in 1972.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 3 in the Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Pastor Shirley Lukens officiating. Burial was in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation was held at the funeral home from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, February 2.
