Virginia M. Underhill

Virginia M. Underhill, 90, a former resident of Bass Lake, Knox, Ind., died Saturday, January 18 at Regency Place Nursing Home in Greenfield. She was born January 16, 1913 in Shanesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late James E. and Johannah (Frye) Jones.

Mrs. Underhill was a registered nurse, receiving her education and training at Patterson General Hospital in New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Earl M. Underhill in 1996.

She is survived by two sons, Edward W. Underhill of Knightstown and Alan R. Underhill of Richmond, Ky.; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A private family funeral was held at Condo & Son Funeral Home followed by burial in McCray Cemetery near Wilkinson.
