Marietta K. DeBolt, 92, a former resident of Knightstown and Indianapolis, died Friday, January 17 at The Waters in New Castle. She was born November 9, 1910 in Knightstown, a daughter of the late Russell and Edith (Manford) Dalrymple.
Mrs. DeBolt retired in 1975 from the U.S. General Accounting Office in Indianapolis. She was a member of the Knightstown High School Alumni Association and a member of the Knightstown Friends Church. On May 29, 1942, she married Virgil DeBolt who died in 1960.
Survivors include two cousins, Carol Ann Shirley of Greenfield and Marilyn Runkle of Lafayette.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Beachler.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, January 22) at Todd Funeral Home, Butcher Chapel in Knightstown with Rev. Chris Sitler officiating. Burial will be in Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation was held at the funeral home Tuesday, January 21.
