Janice L. Fitch
Feb. 22, 1937 – May 11, 2001
Janice L. Fitch, 64, of Arlington, died Friday, May 11 at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born Feb. 22, 1937 in Madison, the daughter of Foster B. and Vivian Barber Wilson.
Mrs. Fitch was a housewife and mother. She was a 1995 graduate of Carthage High School, a member of the Carthage Friends Meeting and the Carthage Lions Club.
On July 14, 1957, she married Tives “Tib” Fitch and he survives her.
Other survivors include two sons, Denny J. Fitch of Shelbyville, and Perry D. Fitch of Knightstown; two daughters, “Kileen” (husband, Phil) Piles of Arlington, and Gayla (husband, Rick) Harris of Knightstown; her father. Foster B. Wilson of Arlington; two brothers, Marlin and Foster W. Wilson, both of Arlington; a sister, Barbara (husband, Robert) Proctor of Arlington; and grandchildren, Clint and Carly Piles and Kara and Chris Harris.
Services were held Tuesday, May 15 at the Carthage Friends Meeting with Rev. Richard Doughty officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Carthage. Visitation was on Monday, May 14 at the Carthage Friends Meeting. Todd Funeral Home Carthage Chapel was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Carthage Friends Meeting.
