William E. Reynolds

July 30, 1906 – Apr. 13, 2001

William “Hap” E. Reynolds, 94, of New Castle died Friday, April 13 at his residence.

Reynolds was a former machinist at Chrysler Corp., retiring in 1966. He was also a farmer. He was a member of the Greensboro United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Marie Williamson; one son, Donald E. (wife, Ida) Reynolds, New Castle; grandchildren, Julie Reynolds, Renee (husband, David) Brown, and Donna (husband, Jim) Wright; great-grandchildren, Lucas Wright, Amber Wright, Josh Brown, Zack Brown and Annie Brown Craft; two brothers, Euil “Ham” of Greensboro, and Tot Reynolds of Bath County, KY.

His parents, a brother and two sisters preceded him in death.

Services were held Tuesday, April 17 at Greene’s Funeral Home in Knightstown. Visitation was Monday, April 16.

Memorial contributions may be made to United Methodist Faith & Promise Fund at the Greensboro United Methodist Church.
