Katrina L. Kile Gartenman

June 11, 1963 – Feb. 20, 2001

Katrina L. “Kitty” Kile Gartenman, 37, of Brookeville, died Tuesday, February 20 at University Hospital in Cincinnati.

She was born June 11, 1963 in Rushville, a daughter of Daniel C. and Betty Jean (Weisner) Kile of Brookeville.

Gartenman was a homemaker who lived much of her life in Franklin County. She was a member Brookeville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Cassie Gartenman of Brookeville; a son, Dan Gartenman, also of Brookeville; a sister, Amanda Shank of Indianapolis; one brother, Joseph Kile of Brookeville. She was preceded in death by her father on March 19, 1986.

Services were Saturday, February 24 at 11 a.m. at Brookeville United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald L. Miller and Tom James officiating. Visitation was Friday, February 23 from 5-8 p.m. at Phillips & Myers Funeral Home in Brookeville. Burial took place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookeville.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Huntington Disease Foundation or United Way of Franklin County.
