Lois E. Weisheit

July 11, 1926 – Feb. 12, 2001

Lois E. Weisheit, 74, a resident of rural New Castle, died Monday, February 12 at her home.

She was born July 11, 1926 in Greenfield, a daughter of the late Rev. Arvin and Mary Blanche (Bradley) Taylor.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Russell “Bud” Weisheit of New Castle; two daughters, Judy Riley of Knightstown, Bonnie Gwaltney of Maxwell; two sons, Mike of Chicago, Ill., James of Kennard; a sister, Betty Thrawley of New Castle; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Dick, and a grandson, Scott Beach.

Services will by at 10 a.m. Thursday February 15 at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Rev. Robert VanCise officiating. Visitation is Wednesday, February 14 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Green Hills Memory Gardens in New Castle.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Henry County Memorial Hospital Hospice Fund.
