Brook A. Smith

Sept. 27, 1968 - Dec. 25, 2000

Brook A. Smith, 32, of Charlottesville died Monday, December 25 at Hancock Memorial Hospital in Greenfield.

He was born September 27, 1968 in Greenfield, a son of John Smith and Vivian Powers Smith. He was married to Teresa L. Smalley on April 29, 1995 and she survives.

He worked at Daimler-Chrysler in New Castle as a line worker. He was a 1987 graduate of Eastern Hancock High School and a graduate of the University of Idaho. Mr. Smith was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of U.A.W. Local 371 and the Kennekuk Road Running Club.

Survivors include his wide, Teresa L. Smith of Charlottesville; his father, John Smith of Peru; mother, Vivian Powers Smith of Knightstown; brother, Burke Aaric Smith of New Castle.

Services were Thursday, December 28 at 10 a.m. at Todd Funeral Home in Knightstown with Reverend David Bonne officiating. Burial took place in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation was Wednesday, December 27 from 4-8 p.m. at Todd Funeral Home.
