Henry County Sheriff Candidates Respond to Banner Questions
April 28, 2010 - Voters in Henry County’s May 4 Republican primary very well could be deciding who will be the county's sheriff for the next four years.
Incumbent Sheriff Bruce “Butch” Baker, elected in 2006 and completing his first term in office, is facing a primary challenge from fellow Republican Kim Cronk. Currently a captain with the Henry County Sheriff’s Department and commander of the HCSD’s Criminal Investigations Division, Cronk served two terms as Henry County Sheriff from 1999-2006.
In an effort to help voters learn more about the candidates running for Henry County Sheriff, The Banner sent questionnaires to the two Republican candidates.
Responses to some of the questions were posted in the April 28, 2010 issue of The Banner. The candidates full responses are accessible in PDF format at the links below.
► BRUCE "BUTCH" BAKER - Incumbent
► KIM CRONK - Challenger
