Thrift Store Offers Clothing Help

November 19, 2008 - The local Parish Clothing Thrift Store located in the basement of the Bethel Presbyterian Church at the corner of Jackson and Franklin Streets provides a way for those who wish to lower their budgeted expenses to do so.

With over 2,500 square feet of inventory space for clothing, the store has an abundant supply of clothing which ranges from gently used to brand new items. The store is operated as a not for profit so all funds are donated to local charities. The thrift store operates in cooperation with five other stores in the tri-county area. The stores also provide clothing to homeless children attending Job Corps training in Edinburg.
