 Business Basics Class September 12

September 10, 2008 - The East Central Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will be offering a class entitled “Business Basics – Successfully Starting and Operating a Small Business” on Friday, September 12, 2008.

The SBDC, which specializes in providing comprehensive counseling and training services to small businesses and prospective small businesses, will be offering this class in Muncie on the second Friday of each month. This is an introductory course covering the basic components necessary to plan and successfully operate a small business.

“There are plenty exciting and lucrative opportunities for those who take the time to address concept feasibility understand their customers and learn about basic responsibilities in regards to operating a small business,” said Ted Baker, Regional Director of the SBDC. “This class will help new small business owners address issues they may have forgotten to consider in their planning process and offer them the opportunity to get answers to questions they have about what it takes to be successful in business. If you are considering starting a business, this class is a MUST.”

This class will be offered at the boardroom of the Energize ECI Engagement Center at 122 E. Main St., Muncie, IN from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. There is a $25 registration fee. Space is limited, so pre-registration is suggested. Please call (765) 282-9950 for more information.
