 Seven Vying for Jubilee Days Queen Tiara

May 21, 2008 - The Knightstown Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2008 Jubilee Days queen and princess nominees. The queen contest will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday May 28 in the Hoosier Gym. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend. The royalty nominees are as follows:

Sponsored by the Knightstown Optimist Club, Jamie Beatty, daughter of Doyle Beatty, has been nominated for queen. The princess candidate is Abbagail Lawhorne, daughter of Todd and Julia Lawhorne.

The Alpha Zeta chapter of Tri Kappa announced Hannah Doubman, daughter of Brett and Kami Doubman, as their candidate for queen, along with Molly Cupp for princess. Cup is the daughter of Dan and Jenny Cupp.

For Smoot’s Lawn Care, Abigail Haines, daughter of Darren and Phyllis Haines, has been nominated for queen. Smoot’s princess candidate is Makaley Smoot, daughter of Wes and Ashley Smoot.

Lydia Long, daughter of Bill and Ellen Long, has been nominated for queen though the Knightstown American Legion Post 152. The Legion’s choice for princess is Mackenzie Stephens, daughter of Chuck and Heather Stephens.

Psi Iota Xi Sorority selected Katelyn King as their nominee for queen. King is the daughter of George and Debra King. McKinley Henderson, daughter of Kenny and Melissa Henderson, is nominated for the title of princess.

National Insurance Agency, Inc., nominated Ashley Roberts, daughter of Todd and Lisa Roberts, for queen. The princess nomination is Audrey Ann Tice, daughter of Matt and Lesley Tice.

The Knightstown Business and Professional Women selected Sarah Elizabeth Tabb as the nominee for queen. Tabb is the daughter of Mark and Valerie Tabb. The BPW candidate for princess is Arynn Darling, daughter of Adrian and Andrea Darling.
