I-70 Work to Commence This Week

April 23, 2008 - A repaving project on Interstate-70 resulting in temporary lane closures east of the Knightstown exit was scheduled to begin earlier this week.

The Indiana Department of Transportation announced last week plans to mill one-and-a-half inches of I-70's roadway between State Road One and State Road 109 and replace it with new pavement. The DOT said the project would result in single lane closures and reduced 45 mph speed limits while work is being done.
