K-town United Methodist Senior High Youth Group Holds Dinner

January 23, 2008 - The Knightstown United Methodist Senior High Youth Group recently held their 2008 Mission Trip Theme Dinner with a theme of "On the Road Again."

The youth looked the part and played the part for a country dining evening and served a wonderful home cooked meal to family and friends.

As a requirement for getting the dinner underway the youth spent an evening decorating the church fellowship hall in a country motif including pine trees, wooden barrels, rocking chairs, laundry lines, saddles, lanterns and straw.

Along with serving the meal they were required to provide entertainment to their guests at all 3 meal settings. Let's just say it was a "Hee Haw" of an evening.

The youth are currently raising money for their Mission Trip coming up in June to North Carolina. If you would like to donate towards their upcoming trip, you may send your donation to the Knightstown United Methodist Church with reference to the youth mission trip.

The youth would like to extend a big "Thank You" to everyone who joined them for their evening of fun and appreciate your support.
